Naniwa P-350 Professional Stone #5000

The Naniwa P-350 Professional (Chosera) #5000 Stone is designed to produce high quality finish and very precise edge. It took Ryky some time to get used to and enjoy this stone. Due to the fact the Naniwa Pro 800, 1K, and 3K were such responsive and fast cutting whetstones. The #5000 is a bit more subdued when it comes to feedback, but it more than makes up for it in superb finish quality.  

It leaves a finer finish than many 5K and 6K whetstones Ryky has used, and serves as a perfect bridge between the 3K and 10K Naniwa Pro whetstone.

How to use:

Do not soak this whetstone. Simply apply water on the surface when ready to use. Rinse and wipe dry with a hand towel when done, and allow air dry at room temp. Do not leave in water. 

How to clean:

If the stone’s performance is slowing down, or seems to be diminishing, you can clean using a rust eraser, nagura stone, dressing stone, or a flattening plate. Be sure to clean the entire surface of the whetstone when using any of these methods to ensure even wear of the whetstone’s surface.
