These have been a top pick for 3 years in a row. This whetstone, paired with a good quality strop, will give any knife an edge suitable to be used in any kitchen. When using this whetstone, Ryky often finishes with the Suehiro Rika 5000, which is a soaking polishing whetstone.

Made in Japan

Spec:

Origin: Niigata, Japan

Grit No.: #1000 WA

Type: Soaking

Dimension: 205×73×29mm (8.1 x 2.9 x 1.1")

Weight: 1,000g (35.27oz)

Material: Ceramic

Includes a Nagura for adjusting

Includes a rubber frame

How to use:

Pre-soak for between 5-10 minutes before use, and apply water on surface during sharpening when needed.
